In the Beginning (The Joyful Journey)

Along the way I found my voice—maybe a little squeaky and winey at first, but, as the years pass, it is maturing into a warm, rich, golden tone with only subtle hints of that annoying squeak it once had. So it is with life: Seek experiences that enhance, that build, that stretch you; with these experiences come maturity and knowledge, and for the astute, wisdom.
This blog is an attempt: To distill my journey; to pull out the golden nuggets from everyday life; to draw something meaningful from mundane occurrences, from exotic adventures, and from solitary moments in the bathroom when all is quiet, and in that moment it’s just me and my Creator immersed in silent communication—me on my throne and Him on His.
So, if you dare, join me on this joyful journey of self-discovery and intentional, joy-infused worship.

Thoughts from the Pot (Naked and Vulnerable): Pray without ceasing includes quiet meditation—your pants around your ankles, completely vulnerable, sitting on “the throne” talking to the God of the Universe.
